Yigcore Excel Add-in — License Terms
This document is provided in English only.
These License Terms govern the Yigcore Excel Add-in software, including the 30-day trial and, when checkout is available, the paid Pro Beta subscription license. Paid checkout is currently paused while French business registration is completed. These terms are separate from the site Terms of Use. The licensor's legal identity is stated in the Legal Notice.
1. Parties and definitions
"Licensor", "we", "us" means the operator of Yigcore identified in the Legal Notice. "Software" means the Yigcore Excel Add-in (Office task pane and =YIGAI functions), version 1.x. "You" means the individual or organisation that registers a trial or purchases a Pro Beta license. "BYOK" means "bring your own key" — the LLM provider API keys you supply.
2. License grant
- Pro Beta subscription license: a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the Software, version 1.x, for one named user while your paid subscription remains active.
- Trial license (30 days): a time-limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to evaluate the Software for the feature scope described on the plans page. The trial license expires automatically at the end of the trial period.
- The license is keyed to the Software's version 1.x major series. A future major version may require a separate license. Bug-fix and minor (1.x) updates are included.
3. Bring your own key (BYOK) and your responsibilities
The Software operates with LLM provider API keys that you supply (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Mistral, DeepSeek, a local Ollama model, and compatible endpoints). You are solely responsible for:
- Your agreement with, and all fees charged by, your LLM provider(s);
- Compliance with your provider's terms and acceptable-use policies for any content you send;
- The lawfulness of the workbook content you process and any consent required from third parties whose data it contains.
We are not a party to your relationship with any LLM provider and are not liable for provider availability, output, or charges.
4. Data handling
By default, your workbook contents and your provider API keys stay inside the Office task pane session on your device and are not transmitted to Yigcore. Registration sends only account and consent metadata (see the Privacy Policy and security documentation).
5. Restrictions
You may not, except to the extent applicable law overrides this restriction:
- Resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or redistribute the Software or your license key;
- Share a single-user license across multiple users, or circumvent license enforcement;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software;
- Remove or alter proprietary notices.
6. Fees, taxes, and fulfilment
The trial is free, requires no payment card, and does not auto-charge. Paid Pro Beta checkout is not currently accepting purchases. The plans page will announce when checkout reopens. See the plans page. The launch offer is EUR 9.90/month during the 30-day launch campaign; standard Pro Beta pricing is EUR 19.90/month. Taxes, receipts, and payment method details will be shown in Stripe checkout where applicable. Trial keys are delivered automatically by email. When paid checkout is available, paid license fulfilment is issued after checkout; contact support if a key does not arrive after payment confirmation.
7. Cancellations, refunds, and withdrawal rights
You may stop using the Software at any time and request deletion of your account data under the Privacy Policy. Subscription cancellation and payment-method management are handled through Stripe or support. Refund and withdrawal requests should be sent to support@yigcore.com with the Stripe receipt email. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory refund, withdrawal, or statutory warranty rights that apply to you under consumer-protection law.
8. Warranty disclaimer
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Software assists with finance and data work but does not replace professional judgement; you remain responsible for reviewing its output before relying on it. Mandatory statutory warranties owed to consumers under applicable law (including the legal guarantee of conformity) are not excluded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Software and these License Terms is limited to the greater of the fees you paid for the license in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or EUR 100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profit, or business.
Carve-outs. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory rules of the law applicable to you (including consumer-protection law).
10. Term and termination
The Pro Beta subscription license remains active while the subscription is paid and may expire at the end of the paid billing period after cancellation or failed payment. We may terminate the license if you materially breach these terms and do not cure the breach within 30 days of notice. On termination for breach you must stop using the Software. The trial license ends automatically at the end of the trial period.
11. Governing law and disputes
Pending registration of the Yigcore EU entity, the governing-law clause will be finalised on incorporation and published here. If you are a consumer habitually resident in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of your habitual residence (Rome I Regulation art. 6). EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these License Terms; we will post the revised version with a new version identifier and effective date, and material changes affecting an active license will be notified by email. Your accepted version is recorded at registration. License questions: support@yigcore.com.
