Security posture · summary
Your project stays on your computer.
Nothing leaves unless you send it.
Yigcore is a local workbench. It stores your project on your
computer, Excel computes every figure there, and the project, its
history and its usage record stay in the .yig file you
keep. Its own logs carry no workbook values.
This page describes the Yigcore desktop software as used in the pilot; the website is covered by the privacy policy. Questions not answered here go to support@yigcore.com.
- Local project. The project, its history and its usage record stay in the
.yigfile. - No analytics or telemetry. Diagnostics are exported only when you choose, and contain counts and states, never your data.
- No model, no key. Yigcore holds no model and no API key of its own.
- Excel computes. Every figure is computed by Excel on your own computer.
The model contract
Your agent host, your provider's terms.
An agent host is optional. If you connect one, such as Claude or Codex, the context you permit is shared with that host and its model provider under that provider's terms. Yigcore holds no model and no API key of its own.
The only connections Yigcore makes are to your own AI assistant and, when enabled, a version check. Excel loads its add-in runtime from Microsoft.
Hard commitments, not toggles
- No training on customer data. Yigcore holds no model, so there is nothing of ours to train.
- No telemetry. Yigcore has no analytics or telemetry.
- No undisclosed data sharing. Nothing leaves your computer unless you send it, or let the agent host you connect read it.
If any of these change in a future version, the change will be announced on this page before that version ships.
